Abbreviated BRI. An ISDN service that offers two 64Kbps B channels used for data transfer and one 16Kbps D channel used for signaling and control information.
Each B channel can carry a single digital voice call or can be used as a data channel; the B channels can also be combined into a single 128Kbps data channel.
