resource

Any part of a computer system that can be used by a program as it runs. Resources include memory, hard and floppy disks, networking components, the operating system, printers, and other output devices, as well as queues, security features, and other less well defined data structures.

  1. In HTML, any URL, directory, or application that the server can access and send to a requesting client.
