In addition to the wide range of in-patient and out-patient services described above, Coffey County Emergency Medical Service, a division of Coffey Health System, has been a part of Coffey County medical services since the mid 1970's. It is a full paramedic service with 3 EMS units and a rescue vehicle. One full time crew is on duty 24 hours a day. Contact can be made quickly through the 911 system.
