Our Staff

Presently the office is staffed by the County Attorney, a criminal legal assistant/secretary, a civil legal assistant/secretary, and a victim/witness coordinator. The County Attorney is elected at-large and serves a four-year term with no term limit.

The County Attorney holds a bachelor's degree from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and a juris doctor degree from Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas. The County Attorney is admitted to practice law in all Kansas and Missouri state courts, as well as in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas.
