All loads must be tarped or properly secured and all Household Waste, Paper and Burned Material must be bagged.

FEES AND REGULATIONS
Effective January 1, 2005

Passenger Car   $2.50
Solid Waste (in-county)   $15.00 per ton ($5.00 minimum)
Solid Waste (out-of-county)   $23.00 per ton ($7.50 minimum)
Tires   
     Passenger Tires   $1.00
     Passenger Tires (on rim)   $2.00
     Truck Tires   $5.00
     Truck Tires (on rim)   $10.00
     Rear Tractor Tires   $15.00
     Off-road Tires   $30.00
Permitted Special Waste (KDHE Permit Required)   
     55 Gallon Barrel   $15.00
     5 Gallon Container   $6.25
             OR
     In-County   $15.00 per ton ($5.00 minimum)
     Out-of-County   $23.00 per ton ($7.50 minimum)
Construction & Demolition Waste

ONLY Coffey County Solid Waste Accepted
NO Hazardous Wastes Permitted

Two weeks per year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall, waste is accepted at no charge.

ANNUAL SPRING AND FALL CLEAN-UP WEEK PROVIDED FREE AT LANDFILL SERVICE, CALL FOR DETAILS.

Waste will be accepted at the Coffey County Sanitary Landfill at no charge to the resident during this period. Commercial haulers will be charged the normal rates.

The landfill is open from 8:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month. Each City is encouraged to proclaim a "Clean-Up Week" in conjunction with the County landfill policy during this period.
