Coffey County Highway Department

Coffey County, in most cases, will install an entrance to your property at no charge. Contact the County Shop for details.

Permits are required for all work in the County Road Right of Way. Contact the County Engineer's Office for details.

All subdivision plats and plats of surveys shall be submitted, before recording with the Register of Deeds, to the County Engineer's Office for review. Fees for review are: Subdivision Plat $25.00 and Plat of Survey $5.00. Plats for review will not be accepted unless accompanied by payment.
