Volunteers: Auxiliary

The auxiliary program is a non-profit organization, whose members are comprised of family and retired personnel of the Sheriff's Office. They support and assist the Sheriff's Office, the community and other emergency response agencies within the county, during crisis and non-crisis situations.

In the past, the auxiliary has volunteered their services to prepare meals for emergency response personnel evolved in extended situations and training seminars.

To be a member, the individual must be a retiree, retiree's family member or family member of a current employee of the Sheriff's Office.

After being accepted into the program, the individual is asked to attend meetings, which are held once every other month.

The auxiliary program operates from funds received from fund raising projects.
