All loads must be tarped or properly secured and all household waste, paper and burned material must be bagged.

Regulations

  • Out-of-county solid waste accepted
  • No out-of-county tires accepted unless they are processed
  • No hazardous wastes permitted

Annual Spring & Fall Clean-up Weeks

  • Waste is accepted at the Coffey County Landfill free of charge to county residents during the designated clean-up weeks.
  • During these two weeks, each city is encouraged to proclaim a Clean-up Week in conjunction with the Coffey County Landfill. Call for more details
  • Commercial haulers will be charged the normal rates
  • The landfill is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month
