Children's Health Services

Kan Be Healthy Exams

Children whose insurance is covered by KanCare are required to have regular physicals, and doing so will provide for increased coverage of office visits and medication.

  • Covers Vision, Hearing, Development, Urinalysis, Lead Checks, Hemoglobin, Discipline, Nutrition, Physical Exam, Oral Health
  • Scheduled by appointment and usually take one hour to complete
  • Will be billed to Health Insurance

Daycare & School Physicals

  • Daycare physicals - cost $10
  • Please see your physician for sports physicals
  • Scheduled by appointment
  • School physicals - cost $10

Women, Infants, & Children (WIC)

A supplemental nutrition program which is federally funded. For pregnant women, recently delivered women, infants, and children up to 5 years of age.

WIC is provided through CareArc based in Emporia 620-342-4864, ext. 3785.

Family Health Services

Men's Health

  • Condoms 2 dozen - no charge
  • Confidential HIV testing - no charge
  • Gonorrhea, Chlamydia urine test and treatment - no charge
  • Syphilis blood test - no charge

Women's Health

  • Affordable condoms, birth control pills, and Depo-Provera shots - fees based on income and family size
  • Confidential HIV testing - no charge
  • Gonorrhea, Chlamydia urine test  and treatment- no charge
  • Pregnancy tests - $5
  • Syphilis by blood test - no charge
  • Women's Health Clinic held quarterly for PAPs, pelvic, and breast exams and physicals - fees based on income and family size

Adult Services

  • Offered by appointment only
  • Adult Immunizations including Tetanus, Flu, Pneumonia and Hepatitis B
  • Allergy injections - $20 (No charge if personal supplies are provided)
  • Blood pressure checks - No charge for this service
  • Blood work - Diagnostic 14 Screen $20, A1C $5, and PSA $5. Call about other blood work
  • Pulse oximetry checks - No charge for this service
  • Toenail trimming - Donations accepted for this service - please provide your own clippers

  • Investigate and monitor conditions contributing to morbidity and mortality in Coffey County
