Coffey County Fire District Number 1 Station Number 5 is a 5,800 square feet building, which houses one 1,250 gpm pumper, one 3,000 gallon tanker, three grass/brush trucks, and a medical/rescue vehicle. The building has a large classroom for training purposes. There are approximately 24 volunteer firefighters assigned to Station Number 5.
