Coffey County Fire District Number 1 Station Number 6 is a 5,600 square feet building, which houses one 1,250 gpm pumper, one 3,000 gallon tanker, three grass/brush trucks, and a heavy-duty medical/rescue vehicle. The building has a classroom for training purposes. There are approximately 17 volunteer firefighters assigned to Station Number 6.
