2. What should I do if I test positive for COVID-19?

View Isolation Guidelines (PDF) to begin following as soon as you are tested. Please answer the call from the Health Department when we contact you with additional details and to conduct our investigation.

3. What should I do I'm exposed to someone with COVID-19?

When the Health Department conducts an investigation, we identify all close contacts (individuals who have been within 6 feet for 10 minutes or greater of a COVID-19 positive individual during their contagious period), and we reach out to all contacts to check in and give guidance. Investigations are conducted by the Health Department in the county in which the positive individual resides, meaning if you are exposed to someone who resides outside of Coffey County we will most likely not be aware unless you call our office for guidance. If you believe you have been exposed, please follow these Quarantine Guidelines (PDF) to limit the spread.
