Gridley is a safe, friendly, and fun community to raise a family, grow a business, or relax in your retirement years.  It is a place where children can walk to school and ride their bikes to the park. Located on Highway 58 in the eastern part of Kansas in Coffey County, just a few miles to the west begin the beautiful and scenic Flint Hills, to the south are the hills of the Osage Prairie, and to the north are Redmond Reservoir and Melvern Lake. Gridley City Lake offers fishing and fun for families.

The strength of Gridley is the people who live here.  Those people offer the quality of life of a charming community, nestled in the countryside, where "everybody knows your name."  We are neighbors that work together to keep our town strong and progressive.
