Bloodborne Pathogen Education

  • Exciting & interactive presentations on blood borne pathogens (Hepatitis & HIV) to assist your work site to meet OSHA-required trainings.
  • This service does not require a charge, however, donations are accepted

Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinic

  • Held every year in coordination with the Hospital, EMS, Sheriff, Police Department and regional partners

  • Available any Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. or schedule an appointment for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

  • Scheduled in the fall to provide a screening baseline and comparison for CBC, Lipid Profile, Chem Profile, TSH
  • Other testing done with physician order, call for pricing

Team Challenge

  • 8-week program starting in January
  • Form teams from 2-10 people
  • Determine fitness level and earn points each week
  • Encourage exercise and healthy habits
  • Free t-shirt at the end if the team meets their fitness level

Tai Chi from the Arthritis Foundation

  • Chinese martial art movements are "softer", more graceful, relaxed and slow
  • Breathing is depended and slowed, aiding visual and mental concentration
  • Many benefits of promotion of relaxation, improvement in balance, flexibility and sleep

Annual 5K Wellness Waddle

  • Registration starts at 7:00 a.m. Waddle starts at 8:00 a.m.
  • The Waddle begins and ends at the Burlington Recreation Center, 1110 Shea, Burlington, KS 66839      
  • $20 entry fee/medals awarded to top 5k finishers
